Tattoo aftercare tips: Ensure your ink heals beautifully & safely.
Comprehensive tattoo aftercare guide: Essential tips for healing, maintenance, and optimal results.
Before proceeding with a tattoo, it is advisable to gather comprehensive information about the process.
As a tattoo artist, I am committed to delivering the best possible results for every client. However, some factors are beyond our control.
One such factor is the skin itself. Due to variations in skin types and lifestyles, healing processes differ from person to person. Although I aim to create a flawless design, I cannot guarantee that the tattoo will remain unchanged throughout the healing period.
Occasionally, you may experience "blowouts," where the ink may spread slightly under the skin.
This can lead to lines appearing uneven or patchy as they heal. This is particularly common in both linework, fineline and blackwork tattoos.
While I ensure the technical execution of your tattoo is of the highest standard, you also share responsibility for its care. After your session, it is crucial to avoid picking or scratching at scabs and to refrain from swimming, using spas, or saunas, as these can impact the tattoo’s outcome.
Additionally, it is your responsibility to verify that text is spelled correctly, dates are accurate, and the tattoo is positioned correctly. Ensure that the design remains as intended, even when you move or stretch.
Please inform me prior to your session if you have:
Severe allergies (including nickel allergy).
Blood-related conditions (such as HIV or hepatitis).
Ongoing treatment for acne or psoriasis.
Use of blood-thinning medications.
Recent staph infections.
I reserve the right to decline projects that significantly deviate from my style or expertise. It is my priority to deliver a tattoo that meets your stylistic and technical expectations.
All our inks comply with the latest EU REACH regulations and are of the highest quality. Colored tattoos are available upon request.
My tattoos are performed in a sterile environment. We meticulously clean our workspace between clients, and all materials used during the session are single-use.
You are welcome to bring one guest to your appointment; however, they cannot remain with you during the tattooing process. While we understand the need for support, excessive background noise can disrupt the workflow. Additional guests will be asked to wait by the lounge or visit a café during your session.

Apply tattoo cream or Panthenol ointment twice daily for the first 7 days. These products are available over-the-counter at pharmacies or health stores. Creams also help alleviate itchiness.
Avoid pools, saunas, hot tubs, and baths for the first 7 days.
If the tattoo becomes infected, characterized by warmth, swelling, and visible inflammation, consult a healthcare professional and consider antibiotic treatment. Should you have any concerns about the healing process, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sun exposure can adversely affect new tattoos and should be avoided. Wait at least two weeks before going in the sun.
For optimal protection, cover the tattoo with clothing during the first two weeks and use SPF 30 thereafter.
You may resume regular exercise the day after your tattoo session, including running, sports, strength training, and yoga. However, avoid direct impact on the tattoo and keep it covered to prevent contamination.

It is recommended to keep the plastic wrap on for a minimum of 2 hours. When removing it, gently wash the area with lukewarm water, if it’s leaking a lot.
It is normal for your new tattoo to feel warm and appear slightly red for the first few days. Treat it as you would any other wound. Allow scabs to fall off naturally and avoid excessive washing or cleaning, which can cause inflammation and hinder proper healing.
